Short version: Scroll Wheel Mission Control collects nothing. It has no analytics, no crash reporting, no account, and it never connects to the internet.

What the app accesses

The app asks for macOS Accessibility permission. It uses it only to:

see presses, drags and releases of the middle mouse button (the scroll wheel click), and
post the standard macOS shortcuts for switching desktops, Mission Control and App Exposé.

It does not read your keyboard, your other mouse buttons, your screen or your files. Mouse events are handled in memory as they happen and are never recorded.

What is stored

Only your settings (on/off, drag direction, drag distance, wheel click action and excluded apps), saved locally on your Mac in the standard macOS preferences. They never leave your Mac.

Network

The app makes no network requests. There is no update checker, telemetry or third-party SDK. You can verify this in the source code.

This website

This site is static HTML. It sets no cookies, runs no analytics and loads no third-party scripts or fonts. The download button links to GitHub, which has its own privacy statement. The web server may keep standard access logs (IP address, time, requested page) for security and operations.
